We film all our events so that as a community we can share all the great ideas that people have.

We think there are some amazing people doing some really fascinating things out there, but don't just take our word for it - see for yourself!

Africa Gathering - A Review of a Great Day from Jonathan Marks on Vimeo.

Interview with Ed Scotcher, the organiser of the Africa Gathering held for the first time in London on April 25th 2009. He believes that not enough organisations involved in development are identifying local needs. He put together a small team to organise a conference for those who believe that more discussion is needed of practical results and lessons learned. It was a brilliant day. He hopes to organise more in Kenya and Belgium later in the year. www.africagathering.org.uk

Tim Unwin opens London Africa Gathering from Jonathan Marks on Vimeo.

Tim Unwin is well-known in UK ICT circles so It was great to see him support the London Africa Gathering. He's clear about what's going right and wrong - and that collaboration between people of different backgrounds is the only way forward. I particularly like his last point about African governments.
